October unboxing - Owlcrate box
Hello my little sweeties!
Today I received my first Owlcrate box (of a lot to come). I had heard so many good things about this box on Instagram that I had to try (even though the shipping costs are as expensive as the box itself when you live in Europe)! But trust me, it is worth it!
What is it?
Owlcrate is a YA book box with different themes every month. October was Once upon a dream and November was Wonderland. You have a book published the past month with different goodies related to the monthly theme. All the goodies are created by famous Instagrammers/Bookstagrammers.
International book box
What is in it?
- A button bookmarks created by My Heart My Tribe.
- A passport inspired by The World of Oz, created by The Unemployed Philosopher's Guild.
- A bangle charm bracelet created by The Geeky Cauldron and inspired by Sleeping Beauty.
- A Lost Boys in Neverland beanie by Whosits & Whatsits.
- A book Vassa in the night by Sarah Porter, as well as a letter and a signed bookplate.
What did you think about it?
I liked this box. The goodies were nice and - even though I haven't read the book yet - I am pretty sure I will like it. I particularly liked the bangle charm bracelet and the bookmarks. However, I felt slightly disappointed when I looked at the pictures of the previous boxes on Instagram.
I have subscribed to the monthly renewal plan. So I will keep you updated about the new boxes to come.
