She had seen the unspeakable. She would learn the unknowable. Now, she would fight the invincible. In the third and final installment of the Providence series, Nina Grey will marry the wrong man, carry the child that was never supposed to be born, and fight a war she can't win. Faced with the impossible task of protecting his new wife and unborn child against the throes of Hell, Jared Ryel is allowed no mistakes. Pressured to return the Naissance de Demoniac to Jerusalem, he revisits St. Ann's to learn the answers were in front of him all along. Together, they must survive long enough to let their child save them - and the world.
Plot:
Hey, sweeties! Back for the last book of this awesome series. So it starts exactly where Requiem left off, which means that during this book we will have a wedding, a birth and looooooads of fights! Yes, you read right: this book is suspens, fear and action non-stop. Let's say that this book is like a war book because that is what is actually happening.
So technically Jared and Nina are still homeless, thus they stay with Cynthia. Her relationship to her mother is still quite complicated. Even at her wedding, her mother would never show her feelings. Yes, you read well; wedding! So Jared and Nina finally get married on this little island called Little Corn. However the wedding does not really go as planned. Michael interrupts the ceremony to seek redress for the murder of his Taleh (by Nina if you remember well). Nina fights for Jared and he is find innocent. They resumed the wedding and then come back to Providence.
The first few months go very smoothly. But the closer Nina gets to her term, the tougher the demons become. At least, being pregnant of her guardian angel gives her some awesome "powers". She is now as tough as Claire, thus she can take care of herself. But even this is not enough and their trip to Jerusalem to bring back Shax's book has to be moved forward. Yes, the Sepulchre is actually the only safe place for Nina to be.
The flight and the trip to the Sepulchre is not easy. It is a real war zone and unfortunately, some good lives will be lost... Trust me, little lambs, this book is quite a ride! Better be ready!

Dreaming of the dead might mean a restless night for anyone, but for
Nina Grey it was a warning.
Still healing from her last run-in with Hell, Nina
struggles with not only her life as a Brown University student, but also as an
intern at Titan Shipping, her father's company. Recurring nightmares about her
father's violent death have become a nightly event, but being overwhelmed with
guilt from Ryan's unexpected departure to the Armed Forces, and heart ache over
Claire being across the ocean to protect him, Nina believes her sleepless
nights are the least of her problems—but she's wrong.
Worried about Nina's declining health, Jared must
steal back Shax's book for answers. Fighting new enemies, and with the help of
new friends, Jared's worst fear comes to fruition. Desperate, he is faced with
a choice: Fight Hell alone, or start a war with Heaven.
Plot:
And here we are, back with our favorite YA couple! It starts almost right
after the end of the first book and unfortunately, it looks like Jared and Nina
do not have time to catch a breath. Nina is now an intern in her own company
where she is also CEO, she has classes and she also needs to understand what
lies behind her nightmares. Yes, you are right! Every night Nina has been
having quite some awful nightmares where Gabe and Jack steal Shax’s book. They
keep saying that it is to save Nina. The ending is always the same: Jack dies
in the most awful way: torn apart by demons.
Time passes and the nightmares gain in intensity. Jared needs to find a solution very quickly. Thus, he stops
at nothing to try to take back Shax’s book to find out which prophecy concerns
Nina and how he can help her. With Kim’s help (yes, she is actually not really human), they will stop at nothing to get this book and bring it back to
Jerusalem where it will remain unreachable for Shax and at the same time, read it
to understand what the new threat is.
But the mission is getting harder and harder when Heaven won’t step up
and they will cross paths of other guardian angels from the bad side (yes, there
are also guardian angels for bad guys. Unfair, right?). If they kill one of
them, they may face a war with Heaven. Do you get the picture?
So between flats burning down, nightmares going on and on, friends who
reveal themselves… It is quite tough to remain sane. Oh! And there is a little
cliffhanger at the end that makes us want to read the third book straight!

Struggling
with her father's death, Nina meets Jared Ryel, presumably by chance. However
it soon becomes clear that he knows more about her than even close friends.
When her father's former associates begin following her in the dark, Nina
learns that her father was not the man she thought he was, but a thief who
stole from demons. In searching for the truth behind her father's death, she
stumbles upon something she never expected, and something Hell wants, that only
she holds the key for. Jared risks everything to keep the women he was born to
save, by sharing the secret he was sworn to protect.
Plot:
This is
basically how the story starts: Nina is a student at Brown who just lost her
dad. No need to say that she is utterly devastated and her world is about to be turned upside down.
That exact same day she
meets Jared – a 23 year-old guy who tries to cheer her up a little bit. In the
next days, they repeatedly bump into each other as if Fate kept bringing them
together. He is probably the kindest and the most loving person ever (I didn't tell you yet about his smile, did I?)
Anyway, in spite of his exceptional personality,
there seems to be many mysteries surrounding him and he never says a single
thing about himself. Where does his strength come from? How does he constantly
know when Nina is in danger?
Little did Nina know that Jared is actually her guardian angel and had never been able to get close to her before as their respective fathers had forbid it. And yet, Jared has been in love with her for years.
When he
decides to share his secret, nothing will be the same for Nina and Jared. More and more questions will come up, leaving the both of them fighting for what they truly want.
